Founder, Build to Sustain
Vijith Sivadasan is a founder of Build to Sustain, a serial entrepreneur, technologist, and ESG enthusiast who operates at the high-level nexus of enterprise growth and climate responsibility. Guided by a philosophy of mindful frugality, he leverages decades of experience scaling global technology firms across eight countries to engineer sustainable, resilient organizations.
At Build to Sustain, Vijith focuses on the strategic alignment of corporate governance and environmental stewardship. He co-developed the Sustainability Index Metric (SIM) framework, translating complex ESG objectives into high-level, data-driven roadmaps. He guides enterprises through the rapidly shifting global regulatory landscape—including SEBI BRSR, GRI, and UN SDG frameworks—positioning compliance as a core tool for corporate risk management and asset protection.
Driven by a lifelong passion for engineering, Vijith began coding in the sixth grade. Before shifting his focus to sustainability, he spent a decade managing global projects for corporate giants like Infosys, GE Healthcare, AON, and Northwestern Mutual. In 2009, he co-founded Codelattice, bootstrapping it into a multinational software services firm. A seasoned venture builder and investor, Vijith has scaled and nurtured high-value startups globally—including Holborn Classic, Netstager, Above-5, Everstead Advisors, Level74, Bayzon, and Freshtohome—while pioneering green-tech ventures like the carbon-negative platform Igloopupa.
Believing that economic profitability and environmental neutrality are deeply interconnected, Vijith champions ESG-grade governance as an essential pillar for long-term business resilience. Through his strategic oversight and clean-tech ecosystem mentorship, he empowers organizations to turn climate responsibility into a lasting competitive advantage.
